The perfect setting for a newborn session is often right in your own home—where you’re most comfortable and there’s no added stress of packing up or traveling with your little one(s). My goal is to document the sweet, fleeting moments of newborn life, focusing on the connection between your family and your newest addition, as well as the beautiful in-between moments.

If you’d prefer to have your session in a studio or another location, that’s absolutely an option too—just let me know and we can chat about what feels right for you!

I recommend booking your newborn session as early as possible to ensure availability, and we ideally reserve a date that is within the first 10-15 days of your baby’s due date. Babies tend to be sleepier and more settled during those first two weeks, which helps create a calm, relaxed session.

That said, I completely understand that welcoming a new baby comes with lots of adjustments—so if you need a bit more time, that’s absolutely okay. We can be flexible with rescheduling if your little one arrives earlier or later than expected. Your comfort is the priority!

My approach to newborn sessions is all about documenting your little one in a natural, authentic way—focusing on the raw, heartfelt moments shared between baby and family.

For baby’s solo portraits, I bring along a selection of swaddles, headbands, and a Moses basket, with photos typically taken in their crib or on a cozy bed. That said, I always encourage incorporating your own special items, like clothing or swaddles, as they add a beautiful personal and sentimental touch to your photos.
